Yesterday, September 11th, America remembered the terror attack upon our nation.

Every year, we watch footage of the experiences people had, as they encountered the horrific reality of what was happening. One fireman made a statement which I can’t stop thinking about. He said, “I can’t believe how evil, Evil is.” He spoke this with tears in his eyes, as he was experiencing first hand, the result of evil and hatred.

Around the world, we are currently witnessing the effects of what happens when people collectively turn their backs upon God. Hatred and lawlessness continue to rise. While we are witness to these events, God is still in control. So, if He is a loving God why is He allowing these things to happen? He gives us the answers in the Bible.

In Leviticus 26, God lays out the truth (I would urge you to read this chapter in your Bible). He gave commands to Israel, and told them, “If” you walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them; “Then” you will have good things like: rain, fruitful crops, plenty to eat, peace in the land, protection, and all that My goodness provides. But, if you turn your backs upon Me, then you will reap the consequences of your dis-obedience.

This is exactly where we see the world today! America alone, has taken God out of everything, and now is trying to remove the church. This is evil, and I can’t believe how evil, Evil is!!

But, God has given believers in Christ Jesus a hope and a good future, not here on this corrupt earth, but in heaven. Many believers are loosing their focus, and allowing the evil to distract them from the purpose God has given to them. Don’t be distracted by the evil! Keep your eyes focused upon your salvation through Jesus! Remain steady in your faith.

Use this time to strengthen your faith in God, through reading His Word. Pray for others. Pray for those who are doing evil, and don’t know Jesus as their Savior. This is God’s will for His children. We are to pray for our enemies, and those who hurt us. Stay strong in the LORD!! Remain focused.

We have been born for such a time as this. Encourage others, that they might come to know the Love of God, and receive the hope we’ve been given through Christ Jesus. Even as we see evil rising, draw close to God, He is our only hope. Even as we see how evil, Evil is, God is still in control! God bless!
